Jordi Bellvehí is the Senior Partner of Bellvehí Advocats and Head of the Commercial Law Department. Jordi Bellvehí has gained extensive professional experience since 1992, having been a partner in one of the leading law firms in Catalonia before deciding to set up his own law firm. He has been the secretary of the Board of Directors of a bank for six years, as well as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of a large number of companies and boards of trustees and executive boards of various foundations and associations.
He has a Master’s Degree in Company Law from the Pompeu Fabra University and a Master’s in International Trade and Law from the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). He has taken two doctorate courses on Commercial Law at the National Distance Education University (UNED). He has completed postgraduate studies in Finance and New Technologies Law at ESADE Business School and has a postgraduate degree in Community Law from the Barcelona Bar Association. He is an Arbitrator of the Barcelona and Girona Arbitration Courts. He has been a bankruptcy administrator since 2005. He is the co-author of several books and has written a number of articles in specialist journals. He has been a lecturer for various Master’s programmes and regularly gives conferences and courses on his different fields of expertise.
He has been the President of the Catalan Association of Young Lawyers and a member of the PIMEC Advisory Board in Girona; he is a member of the Entrepreneurship Commission of the Girona Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Corporate Venturing Advisory Board for the Science and Technology Park of the University of Girona.
He has completed postgraduate courses on international trade and common law at London Guildhall University and Edinburgh University.
