He has been an external collaborator of the Tourism Law Department at Bellvehí Advocats since 2007 and is a member of the Girona Bar Association (ICAG). His experience in this field includes writing a doctoral thesis on the contractual liability of tour operators and retailers of package tours, doctor participating in several projects financed by companies and institutions and has published various articles in specialist journals such as the European Journal of Law Reform, prostate the Journal of Consumer Policy, Air and Space Law, Revista de Derecho Privado (Private Law Journal), Verbraucher und Recht (Consumers and Law), El Consultor Inmobiliario (The Property Consultant), Tourism Management and the Rivista Italiana di Diritto del turismo (The Italian Journal of Tourism Law). He is the author of the book Selling Tourism Services at a Distance: An Analysis of the EU Consumer Acquis published by the publishing house Springer (2012).

He has given lectures on the legal aspects of tourism in the Business Administration Master’s course (Specialising in Hotel Management) at the Jaume I University of Castellón, the Tourism Diploma course at the European University of Barcelona and above all at the University of Girona, where he has been a lecturer in the Tourism Diploma Course, Tourism Degree, the Honours Degree in Tourism Management and the European Master’s in Tourism Management (Erasmus Mundus Master) (EMTM).

He has been a guest speaker at various conferences, including the Conference on Tourism Law organised in Girona in 2005 (Girona, 2005), the First Latin American Conference on Tourism Law organised by the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) (Buenos Aires, 2008), the First International Conference on Tourism Law in the Algarve organised by the Tourism and Leisure Research Centre (Faro, 2010) and the European Travel Law Forum (Salzburg, 2011), as well as giving a speech on package travel at the IFTTA conference held in October 2013. He has also presented his work at the Sixth AECIT Congress, the First International Symposium on Tourism in Ceuta (Ceuta, 2001) and the Second (Palma de Mallorca, 2009) and Third (Moscow, 2010) EU Workshops of the International Forum of Travel and Tourism Advocates (IFTTA), an organisation in which he has been a member since 2006.

Since 2012 he has been a member of the Organising Committee of the Tourism & Law International Congress organised by the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).

In 1995 he obtained a Degree in Law with distinction from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

He received the “Turismo de España 1998” scholarship for his doctoral theses granted by the Secretary of State for Trade, Tourism and Small and Medium Enterprises.
